Adventures in Planning

Adventure Girl has arrived!
Moving from Ohio to Savannah, Georgia is my first step in a life lived to the fullest.  After wanting to move for many years, I finally decided to do it.  There couldn't be a better time for me.  The stars finally aligned (after much insanity and banging my head against the figurative wall) and it is time to start on a life lived to the fullest.

So far, I have:
-Given thirty days notice to where I live now
-Sent the holding fee for the house in Savannah
-Bought a huge box of trash bags
-Have eight packing boxes
-Bought packing tape
-Cleaned out my video cabinet
-Cleaned out my tv cabinet
and last but not least,
-bought 250 feet of bubble wrap.  Bubble wrap is very important.  For packing and stress relief.  Plus it's green.  What's not to love?

It might not sound like a lot, but man that video cabinet was a disaster area.  Holy VHS heaven, Batman.  I still have some tapes recorded on tv from when I was little.  I'm keeping them too.  And I'm totally buying another tape player.  I'm old school like that.

I don't feel too bad about only having that much done, because that was pretty much half my living room.  Most of what I have to do is pitch a bunch of junk and it will be done.  Other rooms in my house will take maybe three days each at the most.  The worst areas are going to be the garage and basement.  Those two might take a week each.  So I'm not too horribly worried about getting everything done by the 6th of November.  I think it's do-able.

I have to go out tomorrow and buy more boxes and sharpies to label everything.  Muhahahaha.  Sharpies.  I dearly love office supplies.  Please someone tell me I don't need a pack of every color ever made, or I'll justify it some how.  Rooms have to be color coded, right?  Exactly.

Weeee!  Adventure!
